Your role
You will be in charge of building and managing a portfolio through opportunities presented to the AR entity by a close business partner. 

  • Manage relationship with business referral partner(s) and internal broker peers to ensure efficient and effective flow of business.
  • Evaluate wholesale and retail client’s current insurance program and offer alternatives based on coverage and price.
  • Effectively manage retention and renewals process
  • Ensure industry compliance standards are adhered to
  • Provide first contact on claims notification and facilitate claims lodgements where necessary

What you'll need to succeed
You will have proven experience as an Account Manager ideally in either the Heavy Motor Plant or the SME space in a broking environment.

  • Proven ability to develop new business, present to new clients and provide follow up service to a high standard
  • Effectively manage renewals and retention
  • Sound understanding and adherence to compliance standards
  • Experience in handling claims notification and/or lodgment
