About the Hotel

The Hotel Windsor is an iconic Australian hotel embodying the architecture and elegance of a European style 'Grand Hotel', situated on Spring Street and located at the 'Paris' end of Melbourne. Our beautiful hotel is looking for a Full Time Guest Service Agent to join our Front Office team.

About the role

The Guest Service Agent reports to the Assistant Manager on shift and has full responsibility to provide the highest level of guest service throughout every interaction with our guests, (i.e. check in/out, occasional night audit function and telephone switchboard operation). 

We are currently looking for a casual.

Duties

  • Handling all guest queries and resolving them,
  • Have a complete knowledge of all room categories and rates, 
  • Provide information on all facilities within the hotel, 
  • Anticipate guest needs,
  • Help in an attentive manner and when required take hotel reservations.

Skills & Experience

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Minimum of 1-2 years experience in a five star hotel environment and a real passion for delivering position outcomes,
  • Superior analytical, communication and time management skills,
  • Exceptional eye for detail and a positive attitude,
  • Previous Opera knowledge is highly regarded,
  • Proficiency in Microsoft products such as excel and outlook is essential,
  • You will also have the flexibility to work as required to meet deadlines and ensure this role is effective.
