The Roadvale Hotel is located 35km's south of Ipswich (approx 30 minutes drive). We serve high quality food and promote ourselves as having "restaurant quality food at pub prices". We are looking for a head chef that can cook meals to a high standard, with emphasis on taste and presentation using high quality ingredients. Shifts are split (lunch / dinner) so the position would suit someone living in the Boonah or surrounding district, or somebody willing to relocate to the area.
The successful applicant will need to be able to maintain all aspects of the kitchen, from ordering raw ingredients, dealing with suppliers, creating new dishes for the weekly specials, cooking a variety of high end meals and desserts, supervising staff, maintaining food hygiene and kitchen cleanliness.The work days are Wednesday to Sunday.
We don't have any accommodation at the pub, but we are willing to assist with finding accommodation for the successful applicant if required.
Applicants must be Australian citizens or have a work visa. A student visa is not acceptable as the position is full time and we are not willing to sponsor an overseas chef.
