Sidearm Café is an independent, fresh and vibrate Café located in trendy Southbank that offers 5 Senses coffee, breakfast and lunch options. Sidearm also have a growing catering business and an events company called BlackEvents which run corporate functions, cocktail evenings and the like in the adjacent Art Gallery space.
We currently have an exciting opportunity available for a dedicated and experienced Cafe Manager who is looking to take ownership, manage the day to day operations of Cafe and share in our passion for food and coffee.
Working Monday to Friday, the Cafe Manager will be responsible for;
- Opening and closing of the Café
- Daily Coffee and food preparation, ensuring a high standard is maintained
- Managing and empowering staff to provide flawless customer service
- Ensuring a high standard of food and beverage is maintained
- Managing and reporting on key performance indicators to ensure all sales targets are achieved
- Ensuring the day to day running of the Cafe is efficient and profitable
- Developing promotions and strategies to increase revenue and generate interest for Sidearm Café
- Managing all supplier relationships
- Ensure the Cafe is clean and hygienic, including work areas, tables and equipment
The successful Cafe Manager will have industry knowledge, experience running a successful cafe, outgoing, friendly personality and impeccable communication skills.
The successful applicant must be self-disciplined, success-motivated and passionate in all aspects of Hospitality and cafe management. You will be organised with high attention to detail, problem solving and a can do attitude. If this sounds like you, then APPLY NOW to be considered.
