About the Role
One of Melbourne’s iconic entertainment venues is seeking an experienced manager to oversee their casual bar and eatery. The role requires someone with extensive wine and cocktail knowledge, a creativity to their stride and exceptional leadership qualities – someone who can ensure the delivery of exceptional customer service each time.
A 6 day operation, this fast paced environment requires someone who can prove their skills in bar management, has a thorough understanding of budgets, profit/ loss management, and ensures labour and operational costs are in line with the venues targets. You will be reporting directly to the operations manager and will be supervising a young, vibrant and fresh team!
You must have:
- Current RSA
- Cert III or IV in Hospitality preferred
- Proven experience managing large teams
- Ability to implement and manage procedures
- Exceptional wine knowledge
About you:
You must have:
- Strong cocktail knowledge
- Experience in F&B management
- An understanding of evolving industry trends
- Thorough knowledge of social media management
- Ability to make sound decisions
The bar features selections from local winemakers, offering craft beers and a large selection of cocktails, batch gins and single malt whiskeys.
Only Australian Permanent Residents with full working rights will be considered and you must be prepared to obtain a current Victorian Police Check.
