We are looking for passionate and dedicated Commis Chef or Chef de Partie to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to advance their career with a successful group, learn from hospitality professionals and improve your skills in a fun, exciting and contemporary venue.

You will have;

  • Completed an apprenticeship or trade test
  • Minimum 2 years' kitchen experience within a fast paced or similar environment
  • Excitement about a challenging, fast paced high volume environment
  • High standard of food preparation and productivity
  • Experience with Asian cuisine - Chinese
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Reliability and punctuality
  • Ability to work calmly under pressure
  • High attention to detail
  • Food preparation and cooking, plating, presentation
  • Maintaining and ordering stocks and supplies

Lotus Barangaroo is located on the waterfront, open 7 days for lunch and dinner.  Applicants must be available to work nights and weekends.
