About the role

• The role requires an independent person who can work on their own and is happy to travel extensively.
• The most successful staff typically have a hospitality background and we teach them technology.
• The technology skills required are application level, so no coding or development would be required.
• The role will be for the Food and Beverage sector and would cover
  • Restaurants
  • Fast food
  • Hotels
• The core function of the job is the installation of POS solutions in restaurants, hotels and casinos in the restaurants, bars etc. This includes
  • POS software,
  • POS terminals and associated equipment like kitchen display systems, printers, rear displays, scanners and switches.
  • Customer training
  • System configuration
  • Live cover

Skills and experience

• Year 12 / Equivalent
• Minimum 5 – 7 years management experience within Restaurant industry
• Micros System knowledge essential
• Must be available on 24 Hour standby from time to time
• Must be available for duty on the help desk from time to time
• Able to travel
• Valid driver's license
• Reliable vehicle
• Good communication skills
• Good problem solving skills
• Good technical aptitude
• Team player
