We are currently seeking an energetic, motivated and service driven Assistant Manager to join our team in a dynamic, fast-paced environment located in the city.
The assistant manager's primary responsibility will be to assist with the day to day operations of the business and ensure the smooth operations between the entertainment, food and beverage functions to ensure customers have an exceptional experience.
You will play an integral role in this fast-paced, high volume venue by:
- Overseeing the delivery of excellent customer service across all facets of the business
- Managing venue functions by having a strong understanding of entertainment and events
- Maintaining knowledge of venue compliance, regulations and venue operations
- Training, motivating and continual staff development
- Developing creative promotions and venue initiatives
- Improving staff knowledge and skillset to improve on customer engagement
The successful applicant will need to demonstrate the following:
- Highly motivated and an exceptional self-starter
- Ability to work in high pressure environments
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- High level of customer service skills in a variety of hospitality offerings
- At least 3 years' experience assisting in the management of a high volume venue
- Current RSA and RCG accreditation
- Experience in high volume venues and large scale events
- Experience dealing with licensing and compliance
- Interest in social media marketing beneficial
