About the role – Cook

• Produce a range of dishes and cuisines, from small bespoke creations to large scale event set menus
• Work closely with the Executive and Head Chef to ensure the smooth running of the kitchen
• Oversee the efficient production and quality control of all food going out to functions and events
• Work predominantly in the hot preparation section (Pasta and grill)
• Be responsible for Food Safety and Workplace Health and Safety
• Foster a collaborative and productive work environment
• Motivate and inspire junior chefs
• Monday to Sunday, daytime and/or evening hour

Essential Requirements

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a high-end restaurant environment
• Passionate about producing quality dishes
• Driven to achieve the highest standards in an efficient manne
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to follow standard recipes
