Venue Manager – Fat Controller Club
- Adelaide’s leading live music venue

Over the last three years, the Fat Controller Club has become one of Adelaide’s favourite late night live music venues. We are seeking an experienced, energetic and mature person to work closely with and reporting to the General Manager. Your role will involve weekend evening/night shifts and weekday hours.

Responsibilities:
- Requirement to hold Responsible Person status for the liquor licence.
- Legal compliance and working knowledge of liquor licensing, music licensing, safety regulations and security procedures. This includes training staff in such matters.
- Work with management to oversee and supervise the work of all staff; rostering, performance and accountability.
- Ensure the venue is run in accordance with the company policy, standards and procedures and also ensuring the venue is protected at all times.
- Communicate respectfully and transparently to all staff members. Attend weekly management meetings, report all venue and staffing matters.
- Financial Management of all aspects relating to general receipts, safes, tills and Bar, and ensure necessary paperwork is complete.
- Stock management, ordering and rotation, checking deliveries and paperwork
- Booking security for events.
- Respect the venue environment by helping to maintain equipment, facilities and supplies in a safe and clean condition.
- Resolve customer complaints promptly
- Moshtix settlements
- Some social media correspondence
- Promote awareness of and compliance with all OHSW principles and practices.
- Promote awareness of and compliance with anti-discrimination principles and practices.
- Other duties as assigned
Required:
- Previous experience in a similar role
- RSA and Responsible Person experience
- Outstanding communication skills
- Ability to thrive under pressure
- Must be computer literate
