The Yarra Yarra Golf Club is seeking to employ an experienced person to manage and lead our Hospitality Team. We require a person with a can do attitude and extensive hands on experience in all aspects of front and back of house hospitality management.
Yarra Yarra Golf Club is part of the eight clubs that form the world renowned Melbourne Sandbelt and we are known for our exceptional hospitality offering to our members and guests. We have a focus on first class member services as well as external events such as Weddings, Golf Days & Celebrations.
Key strengths required for this management role include:
Outstanding customer service focus;
- Experience in bar and cellar management with strong wine knowledge;
- Stock control, recording and POS knowledge;
- Strong communication skills;
- Experience in managing multiple outlets;
- Strong understanding of Cafe, Banqueting & Restaurant operations;
- Hands on team player style to lead, train and motivate staff;
- Organisational skills, including cost rostering, understanding and delivering budget targets;
- A hospitality qualification will be an advantage;
Knowledge of golf desirable, but not essential.
This role is suitable for applicants who have at least 5-years experience within a similar role.
