If Yes then this is your opportunity to join the growing AHS Hospitality team. We are seeking a professional, experienced and reliable Assistant Housekeeping Manager to assist to lead the Housekeeping Team at a premier hotel located in Brisbane.


As an Assistant Housekeeping Manager you will be responsible for assisting the Executive Housekeeper in managing AHS team members and client relationship at site level, whilst ensuring quality standards are met and maintained in a manner that preserves the health, safety and well-being of the team.

Your key responsibilities will include:

        
- Assisting with leading department productivity and performance

- Ensuring delivery of client standards and expectations

- Implementation and monitoring of Quality assurance practices

- Ensuring compliance with AHS Company/Hotel Policies and Procedures


- Completion of payroll and financial reporting within required time frame

- Ensuring compliance with Workplace Health and Safety Policies and Standards


- Leading by example to ensure our team members are working in an positive working environment

       
- Assisting with planning and distributing workloads, rostering, and approving payroll.


Successful candidates will have previous experience in:


- Rostering team members and processing payroll


- Manning department within budgetary requirements

- Driving team motivation and applying corrective performance counselling procedures


- Building a professional, mutual relationship with clients

     
- Performing quality inspections of departure rooms and spot checking occupied rooms


- Providing on the job training, departmental orientation and training assessment


- Promoting Workplace Health and Safety and building a strong safety culture


- Assisting with ordering and managing in-room supplies and amenities / chemicals / linen / equipment / uniforms
