Join us as a Manager on Duty at InterContinental Sydney which is located just minutes from the iconic Sydney Opera House. You'll have ambition, talent and obviously, some key skills. Because, for this vital role, we're looking for someone who will be involved in all pertinent matters affecting guest service and hotel operations to ensure guests receive prompt attention and personal recognition throughout the hotel.
You'll play a key role in the business and respond to guest needs and issues as they arise; supervise, direct and support Reception, Concierge, and Bell Teams during the evening periods. You will assist Guest Relations in greeting, rooming, and sending off VIP guests and work closely with all departments to ensure the brand standards are delivered. You will conduct daily handover briefings and provide input for regular Front Office meetings, in addition taking on projects to help drive the guest and employee metrics.
You'll have demonstrated leadership experience in a similar role or you're a strong Supervisor or Duty Manager ready to take the next step! You'll have high attention to detail and be driven to achieve desired results through the key performance indicators associated with guest and colleague satisfaction.
