We are currently on the hunt for an experienced and engaging Part Time F&B Supervisor for our expanding catering operations at Glenn College.

This is an exciting role that requires an individual with Café/restaurant experience who knows how to make great coffee, can show initiative to get tasks done, work unsupervised and build rapport with students and staff. In order to be successful in your application you will have flexible availability to work Mon-Fri during typical Café hours.

The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of contemporary and café-style culinary offerings and be fully capable of leading a hospitality team to deliver a memorable and exquisite experience for our guests.

As such we require an individual with the following;

• A genuine passion for food,  hospitality and events industry
• Experience supervising staff in a fast paced events (function/event catering also advantageous)
• A hands on, adaptable approach to management
• Exceptional organisational and communication skills
• The ability to lead and work within a small, dedicated team to achieve the goals and standards of the business
• A keen eye for detail and quality presentation
• Appropriate hospitality qualifications and RSA certificate

Key Responsibilities of the position include: 

• Management of the day to day running of the function spaces
• Facilitating function equipment and delivery onsite
• Stock ordering and control, cash handling
• Liaison with catering clients
• Deliver exceptional customer service to our clientele
