Your role will be to bring to action sales leads, procure accounts, build on existing relationships and drive new opportunities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Have the ability to work closely with the hotel team
* Participate in implementing and executing sales and marketing strategies
* Pound the pavement for business opportunity and leads in the Green Square & Alexandria precinct.
* Lead marketing initiatives
* Continually monitor market demand, market share, market conditions,
* Respond to all correspondence in a timely manner
* Manage negotiated and contract rates
Skills/experience:
* Must be a team player
* Analytical skills to understand key business indicators and competitive trends
* Excellent negotiation and selling capabilities
* Previous Business Development experience in hotel.
