This is a full-time role as an Assistant Manager working Wednesday-Sunday for mainly morning and daytime shifts with one or two nights included.
What you will be doing:
- Managing small teams of 3-6 in the absence of the manager
- Building customer relationships
- Opening and closing the cafe/restaurant
- Stock ordering
- Managing phone/internet bookings
- Assisting with training of new staff
- Upholding standards and procedures
We’re looking for someone that has:
- Experience in a similar role or
- Looking to step up from a position where they've undertaken some of the responsibilities listed
- Excellent customer service skills
- Professional and with a positive attitude
- Adaptable to diverse workplaces
About the company
We are an established Cafe & Restaurant that trades Wednesday-Sunday that has been operating for 7 years. We serve Turkish breakfast and cuisine with strong Mediterranean influence. Dinner service is offered Wednesday-Saturday with daytime service only for Sunday.
This role is for someone who is looking to eventually step up as the venue Manager and is interested in long-term employment.
Salary is offered as an hourly rate + super + 4 weeks holidays per year.
