DUTY MANAGER
WA Airport Hospitality
An incredible opportunity has popped up for one lucky hospitality superstar who is ready to take on the challenge of a multi-venue environment. Joining a team of five other vibrant and upbeat Duty Managers, you will be responsible for the staff and venue management for the five venues that WA Airport Hospitality currently operates.
WA Airport Hospitality group, as part of the renowned Red Rock Leisure hospitality company, currently features five highly successful bars, cafes, and restaurants in the T1 Terminal of Perth airport. All five venues strive to provide great service, make every customer experience memorable, and to put an unexpected and funky twist on what you would generally expect out of an airport venue.
Our dream Duty Manager would have a fresh and innovative approach to people management and service, with the passion and drive to see company goal achieved. You will need to possess a love for coffee and an enthusiasm for the art of bartending.
The ideal candidate will possess the following attributes:
- Self-motivation and confidence
- A good understanding of the balance between being casual and being professional
- A minimum of two years in a management or supervisory position
- Experience in coffee making (a barista certification will be highly regarded)
- Experience in a fast paced café or bar environment
- Great time management skills
- Ability to self-manage as well as the management of large teams
- A valid RSA certificate
- A bright and enthusiastic attitude
- A passion for coffee culture and a fair amount of knowledge of coffee equipment
- An understanding of the importance of personal presentation
- An Approved Managers Card (or be willing to obtain one)
WA Airport Hospitality venues operate on a 24 hours basis, so applicants must be relatively flexible.
