We require an enthusiastic, energetic and entertaining personality to join our team of passionate guides in presenting our award-winning small group day tours from Melbourne.

If you're able to fit into a great team environment, but are still able to work independently you might be the person we're looking for!

The job involves long days, and you will be required to share the weekend work with other team members, as our tours operate every day. However, you can expect to have three/four days off a week and still work full-time hours!

Job Description

· Ensuring that all passengers are met and greeted on time (as far as possible) at point of departure

· Drive tour vehicle along specified route

· Provide informative and interesting commentary

· Attending to all enquiries and requests from customers

· Anticipate customers needs and plan ahead accordingly

· Provide entertainment for customers when appropriate

· Refuel vehicle at specified points

· Collect tickets and payments from customers as required

· Drop off customers to reasonable destinations within St Kilda and inner city areas after tours

· Return vehicle directly to depot after tour

Person Specification

· Pleasant manner and ability to relate well to people of all ages

· Neat presentation

· Outgoing personality

· Sound driving skills

· High level of customer service

· Even temperament

· Previous experience in travel industry desirable

· Previous experience in dealing with groups of people desirable

Qualifications Required

· Driver's Accreditation Certificate (DC) issued by Victorian Taxi Directorate

· Full driver's licence - minimum category Light Rigid (LR)
