We are currently seeking a motivated Facility Manager to join the Modbury Hospital team on a full time basis.
The Position
Reporting into the Key Account Manager, the Facility Manager is required to ensure the provision and maintenance of the highest possible standard of services to ensure high standards are maintained by all which meets or exceeds the expectations of Health and ensures complete satisfaction and assists the hospital meeting its environmental responsibilities.
Key Areas:
- Daily Management of Catering, Distribution & Patient Service ,Ward Support and Cleaning operations to meet the statement of requirement.
- Direct the overall organisation of the service to produce and maintain an effective, efficient and biologically and aesthetically acceptable standard of cleaning.
- Adherence to site budgets including materials, chemicals and consumables expenditure.
- Daily management of resources on site including labour, training, chemicals, consumables, equipment, equipment maintenance and repair, materials and uniforms.
- Responsible for the co-ordination and preparation of rosters to ensure adequate staffing provision at all times
Competencies/Experience:
- 5+ years Management & Food Service Experience
- Demonstrates strong customers focus and results orientation
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Understands and appreciates a culturally diverse workplace
- Demonstrates empathy and respect for team members
- Experience in a large, blue collar workforce, within a Healthcare Facility
- Police Criminal History check
- Knowledge of OH&S Act 2000, ISO and EQUIP standards
