Laurel House are seeking applications for a
Launceston-based Counsellor. This position
can be 4 or 5 days per week for a 3-year fixed
term contract.
The successful applicant will be experienced
in the provision of specialist counselling,
support, education, advocacy and
information to sexual assault survivors and
their non-offending family members. Strong
communication skills are essential as the
successful applicants will be providing
counselling and intervention to children,
adolescents and adults.
You have exceptional work ethic, time
management skills and the ability to work with
people from different cultural backgrounds.
Tertiary qualifications in Social Work,
Psychology or equivalent are essential.
