An exciting permanent opportunity exists to join the Medical Affairs department as a Senior Medical Product Specialist. This position can be full-time or  part-time 0.8FTE (4 days/week). As the Senior Medical Product Specialist, you will be a high performing professional valued for medical excellence and integrity. By investing in relationships and through your knowledge, expertise and insights you will enhance the reputation and success of Seqirus.

 

Reporting to the Medical Manager, you will develop and maintain a full understanding of designated Seqirus products, those of competitors and disease/treatment guidelines. A sound knowledge of the Medicines Australia (MA) Code of Conduct is essential in your role, and is required for reviewing and approving promotional and educational materials.

 

You will be a proactive member of brand teams providing quality medical/scientific information. Using your strategic planning skills and awareness of current literature, you will work closely with marketing staff to develop campaigns and materials for designated products.

 

You will have tertiary qualifications in pharmacology, pharmacy, immunology or a related discipline and considerable experience in a similar role. You are a natural leader with proven coaching/buddying skills and the ability to support less experienced staff in their duties. You know how to prioritize effectively and can handle competing objectives across a complex product portfolio. You have excellent attention to detail combined with strong analytical and technical skills, with a developed understanding of medical governance. Your interpersonal, written and oral communication skills are first-class and you know how to successfully achieve agreed metrics/targets and maintain a strong customer focus.
