Exciting opportunity to work for an expanding CRO with a great team!
Responsibilities:
·Conduct site qualification, interim monitoring and study closeout visits in accordance with regulatory requirements
·Assist in the preparation and organization for investigator meetings. Attendance at investigator meetings.
·Assist in the preparation and organization for Site Initiation Visits. Accompany senior project team member to, and participate in, Site Initiation Visits.
·Conduct all clinical site activities according to the monitoring plan and in accordance with the study timelines.
·Manage the activities of designated study sites across multiple protocols and multiple therapeutic areas.
·Be the point of first contact when investigators/site personnel enquire about patient inclusion/exclusion criteria and process/procedures for ongoing trials.
·Maintain project files both in house and at site in accordance with company / client SOPs.
·Participate in local and global conference calls and meetings to review progress of ongoing clinical trials as required.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree required; medical/science/nursing/pharmacy/healthcare background is required. MSc, PhD desirable.
Experience
Minimum of 5 years employed as a Clinical Research Associate.
Experience in Oncology therapeutic area
Knowledge and understanding of appropriate therapeutic indications as they relate to the conduct of clinical trials.
Excellent knowledge of the principles of ICH-GCP and understanding of the applicable local regulations. Knowledge of ISO14155 and federal codes preferred. Experience in on-site monitoring of investigational drug or device trials is required.
