This physio locum position requires the applicant to commence work no later than 30/7/18 for 8-18 hours spread over 2-3 days a week.
Once the applicant is able to meet our clinical requirements & demonstrate all the expected professional standards in the first 3 months, the position can be extended onto a mutually agreed contractual basis.
Service hours are to be provided to aged care facilities located in Lower Plenty, Doncaster East and/or Vermont areas on weekdays but flexible within the 8:30am to 5pm time-frame.
New graduates with 1-2 years of clinical experience are preferred for this position which can earn them at a rate starting from $48/hr (before GST). However, physiotherapists with proven aged-care skills are also welcomed to apply for it for a higher hourly rate.
Applicant will be required to carry out general clinical work for Pain Management Program as well as standard assessment, review & program implementation that a physiotherapist will be providing in general aged-care setting.
Induction program & on-the-job training will be provided to the successful candidate so that quality care and professional services are always ensured to our elderly clients.
Please note applicant is subject to the validity of their APHRA registration, National Police check, Indemnity Insurance, ABN & driver licence status.
