Marsden Clinical Psychology Pty Ltd (MCP)

MCP is an established and successful group psychology clinic in the Illawarra region. We have the Kids Clinic in Woonona and are now opening Stress + Trauma Centre in Wollongong CBD! We are now a team of seven psychologists and three administrative support staff. We are diverse in our services, offering individual therapy to children, adolescents, and adults, as well as couple and family therapy, and have four group therapy programs that can compliment individual therapy. We offer clinical neuropsychology to assist with cognitive assessments for learning disorders, autism, ADHD, gifted and talented children, and older age adult problems.

All of this means that you will have more options to offer your patients and you can collaborate with other psychologists within the practice with relative ease. It also means that you can have a variety of work, should this be what you are looking for.

What we are looking for:

We are searching for a clinical psychologist (or registrar) or general psychologist to join our practice and hopefully that is you. We are searching for someone who just plain loves their job and believes that the work they do is important and makes a valuable contribution to the our society. We want someone who works hard and takes initiative because you find the work intrinsically motivating.

MCP's values are at the core of our culture: motivation, commitment, compassion, kindness, responsibility, professionalism, ethics, and passion. We all commit to these values and ask that you share in this culture.

If this sounds like you, keep reading!

What we are offering:

As our practice expands, we are able to provide better facilities and resources to assist you in your delivery of psychology services, and can provide more support to you as you grow and develop in your career.

As a part of MCP, you will have autonomy with regards to how you apply your skills to reach the best outcome for your patients, and you will receive considerable remuneration for your commitment and services at MCP. Our practice as a whole has a very low cancellation rate of 5%, and this is because people enjoy their experience from the moment they walk through the doors and are greeted by our caring and supportive admin team.

We offer a supportive environment for you to work in, beginning with a structured induction program, admin training and ongoing support, and supervision and training opportunities.

We also offer structured career development pathways so that you continue to grow and extend yourself as a psychologist.

Over and above all else, we will respect you as a psychologist and a professional.
