Mixed billing medical practice located in Mount Eliza is looking for a Div1 or Div2 Nurse. Village Clinic is a busy clinic with 10 General Practitioners, 4 nurses, Podiatry, Physiotherapy, Dietitian, and Psychology. You will ensure the smooth running and well being of the clinic with the support of staff.
About the Role:
The position will be Casual. This position requires a nurse who can cover Annual leaves, Sick and Long service leaves for other nurses and possibility of 2-3 days casual work.
Duties include:
Triage
Immunisation management
Wound management
Diagnostic procedures e.g. ECG and Spirometry
Assisting doctors with surgical procedures
Treatment room administration
Sterilisation
Care Plans and Health Assessments
Key Selection Criteria
Must be registered with AHPRA
Must provide current Police and Working with Children's checks
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Excellent interpersonal skills with a commitment to customer service
Well-developed computer skills
Excellent work ethic with a demonstrable ability to be reliable, flexible and a team-player
Desired Criteria
Previous experience as a Practice Nurse highly regarded
