Clinical Instructor – National Patient Transport WA
National Patient Transport (NPT) Group has grown to become one of Australia's leading providers of private non-emergency patient transport. With a large fleet of patient transport vehicles, NPT provides patient transport services 24 hours a day, 365 days a year across Australia.
With WA branches located across Perth and Mandurah, we're seeking candidates for the role of CLINICAL INSTRUCTOR to join our expanding team.
Responsibilities include:
- Perform as part of a team, to deliver high quality care and treatment in a timely, safe and efficient manner
- Adhere to, and direct operational staff to adhere to relevant clinical and operational regulations, policies and procedures
- Check and verify the quality of clinical performance of operational staff
- Identify current competency of operational staff and implement appropriate strategies to assist staff reach the required competencies and standards
- Assist in development and delivery of training to meet staff clinical requirements
- Provide constructive feedback to staff on progress and performance
- Deliver employee induction programs
- Provide regular reports to the State Manager on staff progress and performance
- Promote the company, acting in a professional manner at all times
Candidates must have the following:
- Successful completion of Bachelor or Diploma of Paramedicine
- Qualified and practicing as an Ambulance Transport Attendant/Paramedic for at least 2 years at NPT or elsewhere within the NEPT or Ambulance sector
- Hold a current Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
- Have a demonstrated track record of supporting colleagues and professional standards
- Be willing to work shifts at various locations as required to facilitate staff clinical training
- Be committed to training to a documented standard ensuring employees meet the standard
- Possess high level interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrate a track record of commitment to work with, mentor and train staff
- Have a high level of safety awareness and understanding of OH&S principals
