Pharmacy Assistant/Cosmetic Assistant (Clarins and Fragrance)
Location: LiveLife Yeppoon Central
Details of the role:
An excellent opportunity awaits an experienced Cosmetic and Fragrance Assistant to join our retail Pharmacy in Yeppoon. This is a permanent part-time position that would suit a customer focused Clarins Makeup Artist and Fragrance Assistant that has worked in a retail or pharmacy environment. The successful applicant will be willing to work in both the cosmetics/fragrance and front of shop areas in the pharmacy, be comfortable applying special occasion makeup and recommending suitable cosmetic products.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing exceptional customer service
- Apply special occasion makeup with the requirements of individual customers in mind (using mainly Clarins)
- Providing advice on skin care, fragrance & makeup
- Continually learning about new products and keeping up-to-date with in store promotions
- General stock control for Clarins cosmetics and range of fragrances
- Working as part of the LiveLife team to ensure all customers gain 'the best' pharmacy experience
The successful applicant will have the following skills and knowledge:
- Ability to live & breathe our Values
- Proven record of cosmetic sales including fragrance, cosmetic colours and skin care
- Demonstrated experience with the application of makeup
- Comfortable with recommending cosmetic products
- Relevant makeup artistry qualification
- Available to work Saturdays
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to laugh and smile
- Be inspiring and maintain a positive attitude at all times
- Ability to fully engage with your customers as well your team mates
- Experience working with cash registers
- Retail and/or Pharmacy experience
- Be an enthusiastic team player
- Have a great eye for presentation and detail
The Pharmacy Assistant/Cosmetic Assistant will work with a supportive and friendly pharmacy team. This is a permanent part time position of approximately 60 hours per fortnight. Remuneration will be based on your experience and qualifications.
