General Practice Nurse
Applicants MUST have the following to apply:
- General Practice Nursing experience
- Current Div 1 registration
- Working knowledge of any practice management software
- Flexible availability
- Full unrestricted Australian working rights
THE ROLE:
We are looking for a Registered Nurse (Div 1) with at least one year experience in general practice nursing who will work efficiently, as a part of our team.
This is a casual position, with the possibility of becoming a part-time position, offering approximately 10 hours a week. More hours will be available during periods of other staff members’ leave. The successful candidate must be able to work any morning, afternoon, evening shifts, be prepared to fill in shifts when required and be available at short notice.
This role would suit a nurse with long term goals in general practice and a passion for patient-centred care.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Triage and patient assessment
- Assistance with minor surgical procedures
- Infection control and sterilisation
- Travel Immunisations
- Accreditation compliance
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- Prior experience in General Practice Nursing role in a medium to large clinic
- Full Australian working rights
- Available to work on short notice
- Experience using Practice Management software (we use Best Practice)
- A patient-centred approach in service provision with genuine empathy and interest in their needs.
- Flexibility in availability and ability to extend hours to cover periods of leave & additional patient services
- Current Victoria driver licence
