We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced surgical secretary with Genie experience to join and grow with our dynamic group of Vascular Surgeons.
Yarra Vascular Surgeons is a group Vascular Surgical practice in Melbourne with multiple consulting locations including Richmond, Heidelberg, Hawthorn East and Sunbury.
We are a growing practice that needs friendly, experienced secretarial staff with in depth knowledge of Genie, particularly focusing on surgical appointments, surgical billings, organisation of operating theatre lists and typing of letters.
The secretarial role is full time and spread over multiple locations mainly Richmond and Heidelberg. Duties will include answering the phone and booking appointments, typing of dictated letters, billing of surgical procedures and consultations, chasing claims, and organisation of operating theatre lists.
Equipment for a mobile office is provided as the role may require travel throughout the day/week.
Essential criteria include:
1. Sound dictation and typing skills
2. Thorough knowledge of Genie
3. Experience with surgical billing and chasing claims
4. Friendly approach to patients and their families
5. Current driver's licence
There is potential to grow with Yarra Vascular Surgeons with opportunities for marketing, advertising and promotional activities at a later stage.
