About the Role
Southern Cross Care is currently looking for a reliable Care Worker to join our team at the Jeremiah Donovan House in Forrestfield, WA on a permanent part-time basis. Please note this position is to cover night shift.
The key functions of the role will involve assisting residents with daily living activities which will include domestic, social and communal needs. You will contribute to the creation of a home-like environment and work towards continuous improvement and quality in all areas of care and service.
To be successful for this role, you will need:
· Certificate III in Aged Care
· Previous industry experience in similar role
· Previous experience working with people living with dementia and elderly mental health
Applicants must be passionate about providing excellent care and service to all our residents and have the ability to work productively within a team environment. Previous experience in safe medication administration and demonstrated competency is essential.
