The incumbent will support a component of an NHMRC-funded Centres of Research Excellence project entitled “Diabetic retinopathy – closing the loop for diabetic eye care and complication risk mitigation”. The project, which is based in Alice Springs, seeks to implement and evaluate, in an indigenous Australian setting, an open-source remote-access IT solution to improve eye care and outcomes, adaptable to national and international locations. The incumbent will work closely with Ophthalmology, Eye and Vision research staff at Flinders University and liaise with the University of Sydney NHMRC Clinical Trials Centre staff as required.

- Salary (HEO6): $75,223 to $80,340 pa
- Plus 9.5% employer superannuation
