Founded by the youngest women in Australia to own a registered training organisation, Tiny Hearts First Aid has grown to become the nation's most trusted provider of baby and child first aid.

Tiny Hearts is changing the game of first aid training as you know it. We are delivering engaging, entertaining and effective paediatric first aid courses across Australia. Every month we are welcoming hundreds of new and expecting parents to our Proactive Parent Tribe of 50,000 strong.

Our family has grown rapidly within the past five years, and we plan to continue our growth pattern as we dominate the industry with our team of passionate go-getters. 

The Opportunity:

At Tiny Hearts, our core mission is to empower parents in the local community to be able to act when their little one is hurt or unwell. 

Through this, we have been able to partner with several federal government bodies to deliver funded paediatric first aid training to almost 5,000 parents and caregivers across Melbourne. The fantastic results from this program have allowed us to continue these courses into 2019 and beyond!

Wanting to maximise our impact within the community, part of these new courses will be delivered in Mandarin; targeting parents and caregivers among the Chinese community in Melbourne. 

This role is a fantastic opportunity for a bi-lingual trainer with a passion for education and an enthusiasm to create a measurable impact within Melbourne’s Chinese community.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Delivering up to 10 Mandarin paediatric first aid courses to Melbourne parents and caregivers
• Translation of written first aid content, teaching materials, marketing information and other required content into Mandarin
• Assist marketing team with the recruitment of suitable participants
• Responding to participant enquiries face-to-face and by email 

Our ideal candidate has:

• Fluent in Mandarin
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Mandarin
• A strong local Chinese network in Melbourne
• Passion for education and the health and well-being of children
• Ability to show initiative and work independently 
• Education and/or training experience would be preferred 

The details:

• We will supply training in the course and how to deliver it to the best of your abilities! 
• You must have a drivers license, a car and a laptop
• Must hold citizenship or be a permanent visa holder
• You must be able to provide availability for weekends
• You will need to travel to multiple training locations across Melbourne
