Residential Youth Worker
Work with youths aged 10 - 18 assisting them in daily living inclusive of social and relationship skills, whilst maintaining a positive environment. You will be working in a supportive team, offering the best care to young people within the service. You will be ensuring safety and well being, whilst managing trauma-based behavior and incidents.
Essential Criteria:
- Qualification in Child, Youth and Family Intervention or equivalent
- Current first aid certificate.
- Demonstrated experience working with youths in a residential setting
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Experience working with vulnerable and disadvantaged groups
- Ability to work within a framework encouraging autonomous and self-determined behavior in young persons.
