An exciting opportunity is available for dynamic and motivated health care professional to join our team of experienced, supportive and friendly staff in the perioperative department. As a Registered Nurse/Endorsed Enrolled Nurse you will be responsible for all aspects of patient care, developing and maintaining safe clinical practices and excellent clinical outcomes. You will be working in an environment that is friendly, supportive and patient focused. Onsite training will be offered, with ongoing education support throughout your career.
ESSENTIAL KEY SELECTION CRITERIA:
- Current nursing registration with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia;
- Minimum two (2) years perioperative experience in Anaesthetics;
- Recent experience and understanding of issues associated with acute care / perioperative settings;
- Ability to plan and coordinate patient care;
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills;
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required;
- Understanding of scope of practice;
- Sound written and verbal communication skills;
- Demonstrated knowledge/experience in accreditation processes, clinical indicators and other quality projects;
- Excellent time management skills;
