About the Role:
We have an exciting new opportunity available for an individual to join the Area Manager team on a full-time basis, managing the South Australia sites. This role requires you to lead and co-ordinate clinical and operational activities, through the development of pharmacy teams to achieve strategic goals. You will support the quality use of medicines through collaborative working with key personnel.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the clinical and operational pharmacy service ensuring all professional responsibilities are met
- Implement agreed strategies for business development and business plans to ensure that Icon Group Pharmacy’s strategic goals are achieved
- Actively promote and demonstrate a high level of communication and customer service by establishing and maintaining positive relationships
- Ensure delivery of efficient and effective pharmacy services through management of all pharmacy employees, including recruitment, allocation of duties, managing rosters, and coordination and prioritisation of workload
- Ensure the pharmacy service operates within its operational budget
Skills & Experience:
To be successful in this role you will be able to demonstrate:
- Demonstrated ability to co-ordinate projects and team members to achieve desired outcomes over short to medium time frames where all stakeholders are satisfied with the outcomes and the process used
- Proven time management skills with demonstrated ability to prioritise workload, meet deadlines, and forward plan
- High level of verbal communication skills shown in effectively dealing with difficult and sensitive issues with key stakeholders including clinical service development, presentations and educational seminars, in a manner that enhances the long term relationship with all customers
- Demonstrated ability to lead and coach a team to achieve set outcomes and desired behaviours
- Previous management experience would be desirable but is not mandatory
