What you'll be doing
To support the CCLHD Infection Prevention And Control Unit in implementing the Infection Prevention and Control program across CCLHD facilities.
- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner regulation Agency as an Enrolled Nurse (Division 2) with a Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia approved qualification for administration of medication (including intravenous medication administration), including an Advanced Certificate qualification and a minimum of six years full time equivalent post enrolment experience.
- Nursing knowledge and three years full time equivalent experience relevant to Infection Prevention and Control and “5 moments for Hand Hygiene”.
- Demonstrated effective communication through the use of information technology and written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
- Successfully completed recent hand hygiene E-learning education and current Hand Hygiene Australia Hand Hygiene Auditor.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritise and organise own workload.
- Experience in performing or involved in Quality activities including the review and auditing of projects.
- Current NSW Driving Licence.
- Demonstrated understanding of how the District is Caring for the Coast and how this role would contribute.
