Seeking a Provisional or Registered Psychologist or Social Worker to counsel employees at a NFP organisation
Your new company
This Not-for-Profit organisation has been operating for 50 years and provide services to the wider community including residential living, disability services, housing and family support.
Your new role
As a Therapeutic Counsellor you will be required to:
- Enhance practice capacities across the organisation.
- Devise and implement additional specialist training modules and processes for staff and service a therapeutic case load of 5.
- You will consult and review complex cases in order to develop the capacity of staff and leaders in line with best practices.
- Furthermore you will provide supervision to all internal staff members to ensure employees are managing their case loads and avoiding burn out.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this position you will:
- Obtain a qualification in Psychology, Social Work or related Behavioural Sciences at a Masters level
- Will accept Provisional as well as Registered professionals
- Certificate IV in training and assessment is desirable but not essential
- You will have demonstrated experience working with children, youth and families
- You will have a current Working With Children's Check
- You will have a valid and current Australian drivers licence
- A current police check that is accessible
- You will need to have proven success in a leadership position
