An exciting opportunity currently exists for a Quality, Safety and Training Officer for our NSW sites to join St Vincent’s Care Services.

Successful applicants will have a positive attitude, excellent communication and problem solving skills, along with the ability to build strong relationships across the business. Within this position you will need to demonstrate ongoing leadership skills and the ability to maintain a positive staff culture and will report to the General Manager of New South Wales & Victoria.

The successful applicant will need to demonstrate:

• A minimum of five years’ previous experience in a similar systems support role desirable;
• Post Graduate qualification in Quality Assurance or similar;
• Certificate 4 in workplace training;
• Extensive knowledge and experience in Aged Care or related Quality Assurance Systems;
• Extensive knowledge of Aged Care Act and Regulations;
• A strong understanding of Nursing and Care practices or current Nursing registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency highly desirable;
• Highly developed IT skills;
• Ability to maintain collaborative and effective relationships with all multidisciplinary team members;
• Ability to work flexibly within the business;
• An understanding of the culture and tradition of Catholic Health, including a commitment to the Mission, Vision and Values of the organisation and an ability to promote the behavioural expectations in line with this philosophy;
