We are pleased to be working with Calvary Healthcare in Canberra to recruit a Business Development Manager for the recently completed Calvary Bruce Private Hospital. In this role, you will be working closely with the hospital management team to develop, expand and support the services and capabilities of the hospital and its stakeholders. This is an important role and provides an excellent opportunity for further growth.
Based in Canberra, you will have a well-developed understanding of the local healthcare environment, coupled with an extensive professional network of healthcare and related stakeholders. You will have a proven track record of commercial success in sales, marketing and business development roles and align closely with the vision, mission and values of Calvary Healthcare. Representing the Calvary Bruce private hospital to diverse stakeholders, you will have sound research and analysis skills; the ability to produce high quality written reports; excellent presentation skills and be willing to go the extra mile to exceed customer expectations. You must be able to work under pressure, maintain a positive outlook, and be eager to identify new opportunities to drive revenue. The role will require periodic commitments after hours, on weekends and has a travel requirement.
Other important criteria include a strong background in customer relations; a current driver’s licence; and tertiary qualifications in Business, Marketing or related fields. Previous event management, public relations and customer service experience would be highly regarded.
