The Grants Coordinator is a newly created full time position within Council. This role will be responsible for maintaining and improving the organisation’s current significant grant acquisition efforts, as well as expanding efforts to seek new funding opportunities. This role will work across the organisation, focusing on high value grants and projects. Key tasks include:
• Identify funding opportunities for approved Council programs and lead the preparation of submissions for Council.
• To co-ordinate planning and preparedness for future grant opportunities.
• To develop, and implement internal policy and procedure around external funding.
• To monitor, report on and acquit funding grants.
