This is a unique leadership opportunity for a Manager to support a small team that coordinates 5 professional Committees for a membership organisation. This role has recently been restructured and has a focus on strong business systems skills, leadership and stakeholder management skills. The role will provide leadership to two staff and overall responsibility for the effectiveness and efficiency of the Committees. These Committees run a range of partnership initiatives, research and guideline reviews.
The ideal candidate will bring strong people management skills and extensive committee experience. This role will be well suited to an individual with prior experience working in health, community, research or the government sectors. The successful candidate will present with the following:
- The ability to synthesise information into effective communications
- Strong analytical skills and time management skills
- The ability to lead, motivate and coach a high performing team
- Sound financial management and business planning skills
- A tertiary qualification in Health, Social Science, Business or Research
