Rail Program Delivery is responsible for More Trains, More Services program which will boost capacity through hundreds of extra services, better infrastructure and new trains for Sydney. We are accountable for the delivery of a coordinated program that will provide rail customers with more frequent and more express services, delivered by more modern trains and enabled through infrastructure upgrades.

 

The Opportunity

 

We are seeking to appoint a highly organised and experienced Lead Rail Timetable Production Analyst to join our team. The opportunity would suit an inspiring, astute leader who can demonstrate the ability to deliver complex results; is a keen problem solver and has experience in optimising business outcomes by way of utilising project management capabilities. Liaising with senior stakeholders on key issues, and providing expert and influential advice, as well as fostering a collaborative, communicative environment will be fundamental aspects within your leadership plan.

 

This position plays a key role in the development and production of new rail timetables; leading a team of analysts to implement alterations to existing heavy rail timetables, build future timetables, and make provisions for future requirements based on network and infrastructure constraints and changes, ensuring improved performance and robust outcomes. The successful candidate will demonstrate initiative and drive in resolving issues across the team, and will be self-motivated by working in a demanding and fast-paced program delivery-focussed environment.   In conjunction with your excellent planning and organisation skills, if self-motivation, professionalism, and prioritisation are inherent traits within your psyche,  then this is the team for you.

This role reports directly to the Manager Rail Timetable Production.
