About the Position
In this position you will carry out a range of specialised and general horticulture tasks in the planning, development and maintenance of parks, associated facilities and high profile landscape amenity areas within the region. As an individual with high levels of initiative and integrity, you will be able to demonstrate your effective pruning techniques, a working knowledge of small machines and tools as well as good time management, planning and organisational skills.
The successful applicant will have a Certificate III in Horticulture or a Certificate III in Parks and Gardens and/or work experience relevant to the position as well as a Construction Industry Induction (White Card).
This position requires the completion of a satisfactory Criminal History Check - Police Certificate (Australia Wide Name Only Police Check).
About You
To be successful in this position you will possess the following position requirements:
- Experience within a horticultural and arboriculture environment and working knowledge of small machines and tools.
- A positive attitude with a desire to learn and use initiative.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
