Salary:  $131,072 per annum

Teaching Service (TPS) Award - Principal Non School Based Band 3 Level 5

Permanent, full-time 73.5 hours per fortnight

Assist with the leadership, operational management and strategic direction within the Branch and with a specific focus on data analytics.  Provide high level advice, analysis and performance reporting that informs policy, improvement and investment decisions, together with assessing  the department’s performance against national and international benchmarks, reporting at different levels of disaggregation (demographic and geographic) within the system, and manage high level data requests from the Executive and Secretary.

Essential Requirements:

• Qualifications as established by the Tasmanian Industrial Commission in the Teaching Service (Tasmanian Public Sector) Award, 2005.
• The Registration to Work with Vulnerable People Act 2013 requires persons undertaking work in a regulated activity to be registered. A regulated activity is a child related service or activity defined in the Registration to Work with Vulnerable People Regulations 2014. This registration must remain current and valid at all times whilst employed in this role and the status of this may be checked at any time during employment.

Desirable Requirements:

• Four years or more training as defined in the Teaching Service (Tasmanian Public Sector) Award 2005
