Our Client is an internationally renowned organisation, involved in design, documentation and overseas manufacture of market leading equipment and maintenance to the building industry throughout Australia and New Zealand.
Presently they have a long term contract opportunity for a Technical Officer, at their Sydney Design headquarters conveniently located in the Mascot area.
The role involves the compilation of detail engineering documents for production and scheduling of mechanical and electrical/electronic components, using spreadsheets and CAD packages.
Additional role functions include the preparation of Bill of Materials for ordering, manufacturing and supply of equipment. Personal attributes required include, highly developed communications skills, as well as the flexibility to work independently or as part of a small team as required.
Ideally you will have a manufacturing or production background with exposure to SAP (R3) or similar ERP software and be conversant with all current Microsoft Office applications.
