This role offers the opportunity to join a traditional and privately owned engineering consultancy with a history of working across building services, civil and structural disciplines. They have a diverse portfolio of projects ranging from commercial and residential buildings to schools, universities, aged care centres, hospitals and industrial units. 

Role 

Our client is seeking a hydraulic engineer to play a pivotal role within their design team. As well as been involved in all phases of hydraulic design, you will have the opportunity to gain exposure to the commercial aspects of a project, including tendering and fee proposals. 

They pride themselves on being able to offer their clients one point of contact on projects, so you'll be given project management responsibilities from day one. 

They have ambitious growth plans for 2018/2019 that comes with a great deal of opportunity for the right candidate. 

Person 

• 3+ years' experience in Hydraulic design engineering, including sanitary, wastewater, drainage and hot & cold water
• A trades background in plumbing, Hydraulic TAFE Diploma or BSc in Civil Engineering 
• Experience of working across a diverse range of projects, preferably high rise residential and commercial 
• Good communication skills
