Position
A position is now available for Service Manager Software and Hardware specialised CNC machinery / elusoft with the following duties:
- Management and training of service technician in the field of software supported CNC machining centres
- Management and training of service technicians on all mechanical, pneumatical and electrical components which are in communication with the operating control system
- Handling of telephone service requests in the area of system-related electronic software and
- hardware problems to customer machines
- Error recognition and troubleshooting via online machine activation in case of faulty system
- parameters or other malfunctions of customer machines
- Support of technical sales, in-house or on-site, for inquiries in the field of interface determination for linking with in-house production software
- Support of technical sales, in-house or on-site, in relation to the need for customer advice on all technical questions concerning the CNC product range
- Project engineering of technical presentations in the field of customer-related electrical
- engineering inquiries
- Management of complex installations of the CNC machinery
- Setting up, programming and demonstrating CNC machining centres in-house based on customer inquiries
- Commissioning of complex CNC machining centres in-house - Programming, setting up and testing customer's machines before shipping
- Execution of trade-in machine overhauls in the field of all mechanical, pneumatic, electrical and system-related components
- Determination of electro technical identically constructed accessories compared to the original production, localize and organize these with the goal to accelerate needed service assignments
Candidate
The successful candidate for this position will have the following essential skills and qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience installing, commissioning, servicing, programming and repairing CNC machinery
- Specific experience with the CNC product range, experience with control systems from Beckhoff, Ferrocontrol and Schneider
- Qualification as an electrician, electrical engineer or equivalent
- Excellent communication skills and immaculate presentation skills
- Demonstrated experience training others in the installation, service and repair of CNC, Sheet Metal & Fabrication Machinery
- A high level of proficiency using computers and programming machinery
- Willingness to travel within Australia for the purpose of assisting customers with training and troubleshooting on our proprietary machinery.
