Due to fantastic growth our client who develops, engineers, procures, constructs, commissions, operates and maintains commercial solar power systems that increase the profitability of their clients’ businesses by reducing ongoing operational costs are seeking the services of a Project Engineer.

Some of the accountabilities of the role include ,

• Create, coordinate and supervise all stages of system designs
• Observe national laws, regulations, permitting and codes
• Engage with clients', contractors' and other team members' requirements,
• Manage bill of materials, supplier and component selection,
• Develop execution plans in co-ordination with all relevant stakeholders,
• Manage projects
• Manage system cost reduction
• Create, deliver and maintain drawing packages and project documentation, incl. PV Syst, AutoCAD, etc
• Contribute to project proposals and tenders.
• Liaise with expert and industry networks to stay at the forefront of technical and regulatory developments.
• Actively work with and continuously improve Epho’s Integrated Management System and Represent the Company in a professional manner with a high level of integrity and always act in the interest of the Company.
• Manage all aspects of the installation of solar systems incl. but not limited to
  • Sub-contractor management
  • WHS
  • Approvals with councils and network providers
  • Commissioning and hand-over to client
  • Compliance
• Ensure and manage project in budget and on time

Actively initiate and execute cost reduction in the area installation costs and project management without compromising quality, standards or WHS

To win this exciting role with this company you will need to have the following,

• Degree in Electrical Engineering
• CEC certified solar system designer
• Experience in solar system engineering
• Solid experience in project management or higher degree in project management
