An international mining house requires a Electrical Engineer to join their team on a 18 month contract.
Your new company
A leading international mining house that has demonstrated its excellence in the QLD coal mining sector is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join their engineering team on an initial 18 month contract.
Your new role
Reporting into the Engineering Superintendent you will be responsible for the end to end delivery of their asset maintenance works programme. This will include working on the project from feasibility assessment, estimating, scheduling, contract management, technical support to site, project budget and reporting. This role will require you to be able to demonstrate a high level of stakeholder management combined with providing clear technical advise to the delivery team.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role you’ll have a degree in Electrical Engineering and have demonstrated experience working on mining projects from feasibility assessment to final handover. In combination with this it is vital that you have strong interpersonal skills and strong financial acumen.
