Maxima have been engaged to recruit an Electrical Switchboard Designer/Drafter for a well-know switchboard manufacturer based in Brisbane.
You will be responsible for designing main electrical switchboards, distribution boards and mechanical control panels. You will also be expected to help with general operations such as ordering materials and work scheduling.
This is a contract role with the view of going permanent for the right candidate, paying an hourly rate negotiated based on experience,
This position will be best suited to someone with the following skills and attributes:
- Experienced in similar role
- Trade qualification or engineering background
- Knowledge of service and installation rules
- Proven AutoCad experience
- The ability to work with minimal supervision
- Excellent reporting and communication skills
- Strong problem solving skills
- Ability to interpret project specifications and single line diagrams
- Good communication with all stakeholders including clients
- Ability to deliver tasks within the required time frames and be a great team player
